Meet the Chicks

Roshni has been doing henna and drawing as a hobby since she was in high school. Henna was always so intriguing to her as it is art you can put on your body but it can be continuously changed. In 2016, Roshni got married, then by 2018 she had a kid, quit her job and became a stay-at-home mom. After a few years, she and her husband’s cousin Nina started doing henna for fun together on weekends. The idea was hatched to turn this fun into a business in the summer of 2022. Since then, Nina and Roshni have been building their portfolio and knowledge of henna. Roshni enjoys doing modern designs while still keeping the traditional in mind. She has been taking as many henna classes as she can to better herself as an artist and hopes to eventually teach others about henna. For centuries, henna has been used as an adornment for women (and sometimes men) and it brings her joy to be able to empower all types of people to look and feel beautiful.
